Today, one very special boy picked these especially for me after his Daddy picked him up from school, and quite appropriately placed them in his very best Batman container. I hear the door open and a tiny voice ask, “Where’s Mommy?” I walk in to greet my little man and what do I see…this precious gift awaiting me. With his big old brown eyes wide with pride! And with that, my heart beams!!!
It is so hard to believe that not even 2 months ago we only had 2 amazing boys to love and kiss on!!! These three babies are the heartbeat of this momma! Thankful for each one of them, for the many colors they add to our life!! Have a great weekend!!
I can’t believe that he is 5 weeks old…he has already changed so much! Love these sweet peepers! I am so blessed!
Maternity leave is almost over. I have really enjoyed this time with my family. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces soon and meeting some new ones! See you all in about a week!!
The snow has fallen and it is beautiful! We are all home enjoying this weather and each other! I just could not help myself, I saw the sleigh and had to put my baby in it in the snow. It was the only image I got cause I did not want to keep him out too long, but it was worth it! I hope everyone is staying safe and warm. We will cozy up to the fire soon and snuggle with our boys, keeping our fingers crossed the power stays on. Happy Winter!!
With so much joy, I proudly introduce to you Nash Alexander Estes! We were thrilled to welcome him into the world on December 16, 2010. He came a bit earlier then we had planned, but we were ready for him. Right now I am enjoying spending time with my family. I can’t wait to share some more pictures of the little man with his brothers. They have certainly become very fond of this sweet one, and it makes this momma’s heart burst with happiness. Thanks to everyone for your love and prayers, we are adjusting well and enjoying this special time. I hope and pray you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. God Bless!
Wow..I can’t believe that in 10 days or less I will meet my third baby boy. It all still feels so surreal, the time has flown by, and now we are in the home stretch! I am humbled that The Lord would gift Paul and I 3 boys…what a responsibility! I am sometimes overwhelmed at the thought, but I am reminded that I have a great partner who is always by my side and will help along the way. I also know I have a Lord who will fill in all my imperfections. I ask daily for wisdom, that all my boys will have a heart after God, that they will seek Him first. I pray they have a gentle strength, and that they are rooted in the Truth.
I can’t think of a better Christmas gift. I am anxious about what our “new normal” will look like, but I have no doubt that it will “fit” and be perfect for each one of us. Looking forward to seeing this little ones face…excited about the future. Thankful he has 2 amazing brothers to look after him and love on him as well. We are so lucky and do not want to take a single second for granted.
All that said, I am going to hibernate this winter and take in all the kisses and hugs I can possibly fit in. Jennifer will still be checking the emails and sending out information, but I am going to do my very best to not work. I have been super busy this holiday season, I am thankful for each client who let me in a bit to capture the essence of you, your families, loved ones and precious moments. Thank you! I am still in awe of the job I have been blessed with. We have already begun to book a limited number of sessions in February, and will be limiting our sessions each month.
I pray you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year! I look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces soon. Take time out to love on those that mean the most. Take a break from the hustle and bustle and just enjoy the moment, I know I will…. with Love, Dezi
A special thanks to my dear friend April Chandler from aprildotphotography.com for taking these pictures for us. We love you!!!
Reflecting back on the past year, there are so many things to be thankful for. I am a blessed woman, and I have the joy of being reminded just how blessed I am everyday. Thankful as always for God’s provision…thankful for my family, my husband who even when I try not to can always make me laugh, my children…agh, my precious children…my heart bursts at the simple thought of them. For the new life that will grace us with his presence very soon, I love you already and will fiercely protect you and love you and your brothers forever. I am thankful for my family, my Mom, Keith and Mason, this will be the first year we will not all be together in presence, but the tune in my heart will still sing and be warmed by the thoughts of holidays past. With great anticipation I will wait until we are all together again! My Dad and Mary, so thankful for you both, as always, we wish the miles were not so many…you are not forgotten, always remembered and missed!!! Aunt Liz…Georgia always has a home here for you when you are ready!! So thankful for you! To my amazing extended family, you all are the best in-laws a gal could ask for. Thankful for your many prayers to help us through this year! Love my Estes’ Family! My dear and special friends…you know who you are, I am a better mom, friend and wife because of all of you. Your encouragement, and unconditional love is a blessing. I am thankful for each one of you!!!! This is such a short list…I feel like I could go on forever, and yet I feel my words would be futile…I am thankful for the bounty of blessings the Lord has bestowed upon me, I am thankful for HIM, His sacrifice and the love he has for us all!!
I wish you and yours a very, very Happy Thanksgiving. May you soak in all that this year has offered and may your hearts be content in the upcoming year!
